Overview
Sultan Saladin sets his sights on Kerak after Ibelin, preparing for a prolonged and difficult siege. His strategy is methodically planned, and he aims to strike his enemies using their own tactics. Meanwhile, Qadi Fazil offers an alliance under the banner of Islam, but the lords hesitate, recognizing only the Zengid State. As the battle intensifies, personal struggles also surface—Balian mourns the loss of Ibelin, while Queen Maria devises a strategic marriage to shield him from King Baldwin’s wrath. In the military camp, Saladin officiates the wedding of Börü and Sayra, weaving together political, military, and personal conflicts. Let me know if you'd like any further refinements!
