Overview
In Greek mythology, Typhon wasnβt just another beast, he was a force powerful enough to bring the gods themselves to the brink of collapse. Typhon was described as a towering storm of fire and serpents, the father of countless monsters, and the one creature capable of defeating Zeus himself. So why would a culture imagine a monster powerful enough to destroy its own strongest god?
