Li Yan and Diana decide to invite Vanessa over for lunch, hoping to connect better with her and to make up for what happened at Norleena's baby shower yesterday. Feeling bad for staying at the Bhaskars for free, Pam decides to cook for the entire family as a show of her appreciation. At school, Eddie does not believe Hakim when he constantly makes excuses about his mother being unwell, and treats him harshly.
