The Four Seasons of Kyoto: Prologue

Overview

Animal photographer Iwago Mitsuaki photographed cats in Kyoto over the course of a year in this special. Adorable cats appear in seasonal landscapes, including a shrine where 14 cats live, a black cat at a temple with beautiful autumn leaves, and a cat playing with a maiko. The sad expression on the face of a stray cat who can't fit in with the others. The kindness of a male cat raising a kitten. You'll be able to feel the charm and depth of cats living alongside humans through the subtle changes in their expressions and their growth, which he was able to capture only by following them for a year!
