Overview

Observational documentary series about the midwives of the Scottish Highlands, narrated by Pam Ferris. Michelle is determined to have a local birth, but midwife Pam knows that the size of her fourth baby may make this impossible. Siobhan's MS has been in remission during the pregnancy, but midwife Gail knows it is likely to come back after labour. Midwife Alison must act quickly when Mihaela develops dangerously high blood pressure, putting both mum and baby in danger.
