Ten teams begin the adventure of a lifetime as the Race kicks off atop Whistler Mountain in British Columbia. Racers are faced with one of the biggest twists in game history when every team is surprised with an Express Pass – a game-changing advantage that dramatically shifts the strategy of the Race right from the beginning.

Teams head to Kelowna, British Columbia, where they hit the slopes before tackling an unexpected challenge: collecting kangaroo droppings. With the dirty work behind them, racers put their memory skills to the test by learning the Syilx Okanagan people’s 13-moon cycles of the year, before closing out the leg by assembling a complex irrigation system. But with physical endurance and mental sharpness tested at every turn, which teams will rise to the challenge—and which will fall behind?

Teams travel to Falkland, B.C., and Jasper, Alta., where a Detour provides an opportunity to assist with rebuilding efforts following the devastating 2024 Jasper wildfires.

In Montréal and Laval, Quebec, teams face a game-changing Roadblock that introduces The Intersection - forcing two teams to work together.

A season-altering U-Turn Vote sparks strategic chaos as teams race through Peterborough and the Kawarthas, but first, a three-part challenge inspired by classic Canadian cottage games. Next, the Canadian Canoe Museum sets the stage for a demanding Detour that tests racers’ attention to detail inside the museum’s world-renowned collection of canoes or paddling precision on the water. The pressure continues at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, where teams help care for rescued snapping turtles before heading to Bobcaygeon, Ont. to deliver iconic summer snacks to destinations across the town’s islands. As the competition reaches its midpoint, teams race to the historic Trent-Severn Waterway in Buckhorn, Ont. where one team’s journey may come to an end.

The Race heads to Scarborough and Markham, Ontario, where teams continue their adventure in one of the GTA's most vibrant communities.

The Race continues along the shores of Lake Huron from Grand Bend to Sarnia with a leg full of unpredictable twists.

Racers journey to Digby, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick — where a historic twist culminates in the most shocking pit stop yet!

The Race continues in Winnipeg and Gimli, Manitoba where the remaining four teams compete for a coveted spot in the Season 12 finale.

On the high-stakes season finale, the top three teams race to Calgary, Alberta for an action-packed showdown as they battle for the title of champions.
