Up & coming season 1

The Wilson family moves from a poor neighborhood to a middle-class neighborhood in San Francisco. Oldest son Kevin, a high-school basketball star, has a difficult time adjusting at his new, more demanding high school. A prejudiced guidance counselor tells Kevin he's ""seen his type a thousand times before"" and is unsympathetic to Kevin's attempts to adjust.
