“Germany’s Next Top Model – by Heidi Klum” starts with an innovation: for the 19th season, world star Heidi Klum is calling all of Germany to Berlin for an open casting. It doesn't matter how tall or short, how heavy or light the applicants are, or what gender they identify with. The only condition is that you have to have celebrated your 18th birthday before filming begins. Who will advance one round and go on a big “Germany’s Next Top Model” journey?

Heidi Klum continues her search for “Germany’s Next Top Model” in the historic Wilhelm Hallen and has a very special guest at her side: French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier, who gives the young models valuable tips for the catwalk. Also a guest: German designer Jasmin Erbas, who will be providing the upcoming fashion show with her collections. Who will make it onto the catwalk?

It's Showtime! The third round of the open casting in Berlin promises not only glamor, but also a special surprise: the first fashion show in front of an audience is coming up - equipped by the German fashion designer Jasmin Erbas. After the big parade, the model boss, together with the French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier, selects the models who will go on the #GNTM journey with her. Off to Tenerife! But who will get on the plane?

The models move into their model hacienda in Tenerife. Once there, the self-timer shoot awaits them under the motto “Be yourself”, where the models can take two photos of themselves using the self-timer. Also a group ocean shoot with individually styled and tailored clothing on the coast of Tenerife - photographed by Heidi Klum herself. Actress and model Liz Hurley will be a guest judge.

Today it's all about elegance and expression on the catwalk. Under the guidance of designer Marina Hoermanseder and catwalk professional Jon Kortajarena, the models learn the secret of the perfect catwalk. From head position to the perfect turn – every detail counts! Then the big test: In Hoermanseder's designs, a challenging outdoor catwalk must be mastered. Who convinces Heidi and who stumbles over their own ambitions?

Today the models can expect a transformation at the big #GNTM makeover that is as individual as their personalities. And as if that wasn't enough, we then go on to the catwalk appearance in the futuristic Auditorio de Tenerife - a real challenge with style - and, above all, quite a few steps. In the fashion showdown, the models show off their skills in creations by Kaviar Gauche and Baldessarini. But in the end, the only thing that counts is the impression Heidi and Jourdan Dunn make.

Today it will be educational and tricky at the same time. Heidi slips into the role of the critical customer and gives the models a casting lesson! But what they don't know: A real customer is secretly watching and seeing which model has what it takes for the campaign. After the casting, we get straight to the nitty-gritty: comp card shooting with cool designer furniture as a backdrop. Who will withstand the critical gaze of photographer and guest juror Christian Anwander and get the coveted model portfolio?

This week, after the casting marathon in Frankfurt, the models say: Bye, bye Germany. Hello Los Angeles! What awaits you there? A catwalk in the legendary Rose Bowl Stadium, surrounded by football players! The mission: Stay cool and rock Christian Cowan's looks.

SAT.1 Newstime spokeswoman and journalist Claudia von Brauchitsch checks how the models do in their first interview. Who remains sovereign? But there is a little secret: Designer Kilian Kerner is secretly watching because he came to L.A. with a very specific mission. But shhh, the models won't find out until later. The designer trains the models in the runway walk and secretly assesses their creativity during the “Tiny Tokyo” photo shoot…

Time for haute couture! But first they are looking for a new face for the underwear brand Intimissimi. According to the motto “Italian Morning”, eight models are allowed to demonstrate their skills during the casting and give an insight into their morning routine. Then comes the big high fashion show at the SCS Warehouse. The candidates present the opulent designs on the catwalk and international model Winnie Harlow is at Heidi's side as a guest judge for the elimination.

Now hold your breath! Today the models dive underwater and take on the role of a newly married couple. Heidi pays a visit to the model penthouse and gives the candidates tips on how to best portray intimacy in front of the camera. And this is then practiced in the pool. During the big shoot, the models want to show that they can showcase their high fashion wedding outfits in the decorated underwater tank.

Running needs to be learned - and today the models are practicing with catwalk trainer Micky Kurz. Also there: the international designers Kevin Germanier, Ashton Michael and Esther Perbandt, who have high demands on the models. It's worth giving everything, because on elimination day there's not just one fashion show, but three! And everyone wants to shine in the cool outfits. The aim is to convince Heidi and the three designers. Who will master the challenge?

Today it's all about videos. First, the candidates are allowed to get creative during a beauty casting. It's about showing your personal transformation in a video clip, first without make-up and then with your self-made-up look. Then the models' acting skills are in demand. The story? A celebrity enters a diner and has a confrontation with the manager, played by Thomas Kretschmann.

Today the models create colorful beach looks to impress at the casting for a swimwear campaign. Then it gets musical: teaching with dancer and catwalk coach Nikeata shows who has a sense of rhythm. Choreography to hits by Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake makes the models sweat. But if that wasn't enough, there's also the need for lip-sync action! The crowning conclusion is the walk.

Today there are two beauty jobs up for grabs. First of all, more than just batting your eyelashes is required to convince the Lashes customer. Then it's all about hugs and emotions when casting for a deodorant brand. Who lets the customer see inside themselves? During the spectacular monsoon shoot with photographer Rankin, the artificial weather goes crazy. Rain and wind? No problem for the models. Or is it?

The time has finally come – the big cover shoot is coming up! And everyone wants to go to Harper’s Bazaar. That's why it's time to step on the gas for what is probably the most important shoot of the season. Who has what it takes to be a cover star? During the exciting Action Walk the models have to keep their nerve and not look down! Because the catwalk is at dizzying heights. Who wants to aim high and convince Heidi Klum?

Creativity is key! Today the models are supposed to let their creativity run wild at a big casting for a sportswear manufacturer. The task? Create a style where the shoe is the hero. Who will be one step ahead and get the job? Hard work is rewarded: family and friends surprise the models in L.A.! The models can recharge their batteries with their loved ones so they can score points in the important shoot with Thomas Hayo and Kristian Schuller.

The models aim high. And definitely don't fly out so close to the finish line. During the helicopter shoot, you have to show strong nerves and impress photographer and guest juror Vijat Mohindra. Who gets to make it to the grand finale will be decided during a spectacular rooftop walk in front of the L.A. skyline with designer and guest juror Yannik Zamboni. Which models will get the long-awaited ticket to the #GNTM final 2024?

Final! After an exciting time in the fashion world, the top model candidates face their final challenge in the 19th season of “Germany’s Next Top Model – by Heidi Klum”. Premiere: There will be two winners this year! A female winner and a male winner will each receive €100,000 and will grace the cover of Harper's Bazaar.
