Season 1

In 1968, NGAU is bothered by the rascals who ask NGAU to repay the debt. NGAU asks CHEUNG for help. CHEUNG recalls that NGAU had helped him when his family had just arrived Hong Kong. Thus, CHEUNG tries his best to help NGAU. However, CHEUNG's wife, YING, is very dissatisfied with CHEUNG's decision. One night, CHEUNG helps an old lady to buy a lottery ticket. The ticket has scored the first prize. NGAU, KEUNG and FAT have known the case. They slip into CHEUNG's home and try to steal some money. They meet YING. NGAU and the others kill YING and CHEUNG's son, LEUNG, and MEI cruelly. Later, CHEUNG has also been killed when he backs home. Meanwhile, NGAU's wife, KUEN, is going to give birth to the baby. HAO goes to CHEUNG's home to find NGAU. She witnesses everything and is shocked. However, HAO loves her son so deep that she decides to keep her .mouth shut……

HAN's mum is hurt as NGAU collects the flat by foul mean. HAN finds NGAU for revenge. BOK beats HAN away. NGAU and BOK then report the case to the police. WAI teases them. BO is dissatisfied. HAO feels that CHEUNG and YING's spirits are always around. She knows that they want to take revenge. HAO force NGAU to offer sacrifice to them. NGAU does not believe in ghosts and spirits. He offers the sacrifice in a perfunctory manner. KEE is abandoned by her boyfriend. She attempts suicide and is then being sent to the hospital. BOK is her doctor. He takes good care of his patient. However, KEE does not accept his goodwill. HAN's mum is passed away. HAN bursts into' NGAU's office and threatens him with a dagger. BOK rescues HGAU bravely. He could eventually suppress HAN, NGAU is slightly injured. BOK blames WAI and the police force who do not perform well. HAO asks Master TANG for help……

WAI starts to investigate HAO's case. BO claims that he only saw HAO. However, KEE claims that she saw two more persons who pushed HAO down from the building. WAI is puzzled. Later, the police finds out that KEE was serving hemp at that time. Thus, the police cancel her statement. WAI quarrels with NGAU and BOK when the case is processing. HAO's corpse has suddenly come up some change. Her body shows some contusive bruise marks. The examiner could not explain. WAI also could not continue the investigation. TIN moves to YAU's upper floor. WAI does not know the case. She is shocked to see him. TIN sees HAO's photo and feels very surprised. He starts to investigate. KEE leaves the hospital. KIN invites her home for dinner. She quarrels with BO and JING and leaves home angrily. During HAO's funeral, TIN has taken some pictures which showed CHEUNG and YING's spirits next to BOK……

YING's spirit occupies HEI's body so as to communicate with BOK. Meanwhile, NGAU returns home. YING hurries away. YAU arranges WAI and BO to have dinner together. They again quarrel with each other. WAI leaves angrily. She encounters a robbery. Though WAI has killed a robber, she has hurt a child mistakenly. BO immediately sends the child to the hospital. WAI feels very sorry. The child has eventually escaped from death. WAI is then at ease. Misunderstanding between WAI and BOK has eventually removed after the incident. The fortune-teller, LIN, predicts that the spirits would take revenge on NGAU's family. He warns NGAU. NGAU does not believe him and drives him away. NGAU dances with LAN. CHEUNG makes LAN hurt. NGAU and LAN then could not attend the charity ball which is held by HEI. KEE agrees to have an affair with WING for the sake of money. However, KEE steals WING's money……

BOK rescues ON and HEI bravely. They could then escape from death. TIN reporters comment that it is related to TIN spirits' retaliation. NGAU is extremely angry with those comments. KEE is very poor. She decides to sell TIN the information regarding the accidents which HAO and WING had encountered. TIN strongly believes that NGAU's family is really troubled by spirits. He even shoots some pictures with spirits outside NGAU's house. TIN reports the case with exaggeration. NGAU dissatisfies TIN. He sends somebody to disturb his office. He even asks his subordinates to beat TIN. WAI and BOK understand each other more after a long time contact. Tehy blossom love between each other. NGAU finds a picture in HAO's room. The picture is CHEUNG's family photo. NGAU is very surprised. Suddenly BOK is shouting for help.

BOK has several nightmares. NGAU questions him the details. He finds that the one BOK dream of is CHEUNG. NGAU is shocked. He immediately asks LIN for help. LIN agree to help and will drive the spirits away. LIN suppresses CHEUNG and YING's spirits with magic. He then eliminates them on 14th July at the devil hill. CHEUNG and YING are being driven away. Meanwhile, BOK and WAI are barbecue. Tehy are also being affected and are grieved with pains. TIN witnesses the situation and feels something strange. KEE finds her boyfriend has a new lover. She is so angry that she hurts her boyfriend. The police then arrests KEE and is going to charge her. KEE asks BOK for help. BO pities her and bail her out. BOK even comforts KEE> They go for a boat trip to celebrate YAU's birthday. They pass by the devil hill. BOK finds the place very familiar to him and a strange feeling comes up……

BOK meets MEI in his dream. He misses MEI a lot. He even finds MEI very familiar. YAU by chance sees his ex-girlfriend, CHU's, portrait. He miss her a lot. He goes to the island to see CHU. However, her husband, SHEK, claims that CHU has gone overseas for travelling, YAU is very disappointed. YAU meets a mysterious girl with white clothes. He goes to a cliff with her guidance. YAU discloses that SHEK had killed CHU. YAU arrests SHEK. TIN publishes the case. YEE admires YAU more after the incident. WAI is dissatisfied with KONG who helps NGAU to do evil things. She again quarrel with KONG. WAI tells BOK the case. BOK comforts her. KEE's boyfriend, JOHNNY, extorts money from KEE for separation. KEE asks BOK for help. Unexpectedly, JOHNNY takes the opportunity to kidnap BOK. He extorts NGAU to give him ten million. NGAU agrees to pay. WAI investigates the case. JOHNNY throws BOK down into the sea……

The police and NGAU try to search for BOK but are in vain. WAI feels very sorry for BOK who had encountered misfortune. In fact, MEI has rescued BOK to an island. BOK is very weak and there is nobody for help. A few days later, BOK has still not yet been found, NGAU believes that BOK has already encountered misfortune. He goes to find his spirit and passes by the island. They could eventually find BOK. KEE is happy to know that BOK is saved. She apologizes to BOK. She even claims that she would reform herself. MEI goes everywhere. She scares a taxi-driver and a couple unintentionally. It leads to a traffic accident. TIN knows that it is related to spirits. He decides to investigate.

YAU arranges to play tennis with BOK. YAU does not show up. WAI and BOK are left alone. WAI carelessly breaks BOK's antique watch. She feels very sorry. She tries her best to find a same watch for BOK. When YEE has known the case, she teases at WAI. After investigation, TIN finds out that the female spirit is related to the village fire twenty years ago. He tells YAU the case. However, YAU has no concern at it. He only concerns about his love affair. TIN indicates to YAU that YEE has secretly admired him. YAU misunderstands that it is WAI who admires him secretly. YAU is proud of himself. YAU meets YEE who is accompanying WAI to buy watch. YEE tells YAU that WAI is buying watch for her beloved one. YAU thinks that it was him, he is very happy. Later, he has found that the watch is for BOK, YAU is very disappointed. he could then aware that WAI loves BOK. WING has a lot of girlfriend. NGAU warns him. WING ignores his advice……

MEI follows BOK when he is driving. BOK drives exceed the allowed speed limit and is being shot. The picture shows MEI's spirit. The press spread the case with exaggeration. BOK thinks that it is only the artificial skills. He does not take it serious. YEE knows that YAU loves the singer CHOW MAN MAN, she deliberately bought two concert tickets. Unexpectedly, YAU had already bought the tickets. he even sold the tickets to somebody else after refused by WAI. YEE is very disappointed. TA invites YEE for dinner. On the way home they encounter a robbery. YAU breaks his watch for the sake of arresting the robber. YEE buys a precious watch for YAU. WING chases LULU. One night, WING sees ON and LULU are having an affair in LULU's flat. WING and ON fight against each other. Tehy are even being sent to the police station. TIN press again reports the case. NGAU rebukes the two and sends somebody to disfigure LULU……

BOK encounters a traffic accident when he is driving. He is fainted. MEI rescues BOK during the emergency. BOK feels that there is a girl who has saved him from danger. However, the girl is not around when he awakes. BOK feels very strange. BOK invites WAI to attend his friends meeting. WAI agrees to go. She even buys a formal dress for the meeting. YEE teases at WAI. YAU by chance finds out that YEE has secretly kept his picture and the watch she bought for him is extremely expensive. YAU questions TIN the case. TIN tells YAU that YEE has secretly admired him all along. YAU is shocked. He wants to tell YEE that he does not love her at all. However, he makes it worse instead. he makes YEE love him more. KEE claims that it .is her birthday. She invites BOK to celebrate with her. Tehy have a happy night. Later, BOK finds out that it is actually not KEE's birthday. BOK is very angry and leaves angrily. KEE is very upset……

KEE is seriously injured and died. MEI finds that her spirit could match with her body. MEI immediately reincarnated in KEE's bodies. BOK is happy to see KEE escape from the disaster. TIN feels very strange. KEE soon recovers. She has also changed a lot. She becomes very gentle and tender. BOK has a good impression on her. BOK treats KEE with care as he feels sorry for himself. BOK then ignores WAI. WAI is very upset. WAI is sick. YAU shows great concern. He asks YEE to take good care of WAI. YEE observes that YAU does like WAI a lot. YEE is very disappointed. BOK dreams about his last life who is going out with MEI. He feels very familiar. NGAU wants to cooperate with LEE WING YAN in business. WING sets a plot to make YAN agree to cooperate with them. NGAU praises WING. In another aspect, WING is sick of his mistress, LILY. He abandons her. TIN's good friend, CHUN YIN TUNG, comes to Hong Kong……

TUNG uses magic to deal with KEE. BOK arrives in time and drives them away. MEI could then escape from the disaster. KEE could leave the hospital. She misses BOK a lot. KEE follows KIN home. She is very nervous as she has to face a new environment. KEE shows great concern to KIN and LING after sometime. She makes the whole family very harmonious. WAI< YEE, YAU and BOK are barbecue. YEE observes that the relation among the four is very complicated, she is very upset. LILY bothers WING. She even bursts into his office. She insists to marry WING. NGAU is very annoyed with her. He sends somebody to push her down from the building and makes it as a suicide case. He even transfers WING to work in Malaysia. WAI sees that BOK and KEE are getting very close and intimate. She feels very upset. She even encounters some danger as she is so inattentive. YAU saves her bravely……

KEE expresses that she is worshipping her relatives. She asks BOK to worship at TIN tomb. BOK follows KEE's instruction. TIN is a strange feeling coming up BOK's mind. WAI tells YAU that she only regards him as some common friend and they will not be lovers. YAU is very disappointed. YEE works as a saleslady in a gift gallery. She works very hard. She shows great concern to LING and KIN. BOK finds that KEE has changed a lot. He blossoms love feeling on her unconsciously. WAI knows that YEE is secretly in love with YAU. She encourages YEE to tell YAU her love. YEE takes good care of YAU. However, YAU still does not know YEE's love. BOK arranges a meeting for all friends. TIN takes photo for everybody. KEE deliberately avoids the camera. TIN secretly takes photo for KEE. he really finds something strange in KEE after the photo has been developed. TIN contacts TUNG> They decide to deal with KEE.

KEE does not scare TIN's 'spirit summons'. It is out of TIN's expectation. BO backs home. He forces LING to give him the wedding ring so that he could pawn it for buying drugs. KEE advises BO with great words. BO is affected and decides to reform himself. HEI finds that BOK and KEE are very intimate. He tells NGAU the case. NGAU does not allow BOK to get along with KEE. BOK does not listen to NGAU's words. YEE finds that there is no hope for YAU and her. She decides to study abroad. WAI tells YAU the case. She even advises YAU not to miss the chance. YAU eventually express his love to YEE after some struggle. YEE is very happy and decides to stay in Hong Kong. JOHNNY backs to Hong Kong secretly. He extorts money from KEE. KEE escapes away. BOK takes KEE to report the case to the police. WAI reckons that it is JOHNNY's deed. They take JOHNNY's photo for KEE to recognize……

The police arrests JOHNNY. KEE suddenly comes to life again. JOHNNY is shocked. WAI suggests KEE to examine injuries. KEE refuses resolutely. KEE acts strangely. She cannot take hot food and also is scare of sunlight. They think that she is scared by JOHNNY. However, KEE's body had died again. MEI just presses her soul on KEE's dead body so as to see BOK. LING and KIN by chance find out that MEI has reincarnated into KEE' body. They are shocked. They also feel sorry for MEI. Meanwhile, TUNG arrives. He aims to suppress the spirit. LING and KIN help KEE to escape away. KEE finds BOK. They stay together for the last night. MEI frankly tells BOK everything. BOK misses KEE a lot. He holds a wedding with her. MEI shows her real face. She stays with BOK for a night and disappears in air after that night. BOK has become very upset and disappointed after that night. WAI tries to console him……

NGAU cheated LEE WING YAN out of his family property and wealth. YAN bursts into NGAU's office angrily. NGAU drives him away. YAN claims that he will take revenge. WAI accompanies BOK to worship KEE and MEI's tombs. They meet a patient who is very sick. BOK renders immediate help and saves his life. WAI takes the chance to encourage BOK. BOK can eventually recovers and lives anew. YAN attempts to kill NGAU. BOK tries to stop him. YAN is killed by a fall during the struggle. The cop can tell that the dried bones are belonged to CHEUNG and YING who were NGAU's friends. WAI questions NGAU for investigation. NGAU lies. BOK finds NGAU very strange. KEUNG is very disappointed and poor. He extorts money from NGAU with CHEUNG's case. NGAU kills KEUNG.

BOK knows that NGAU and CHEUNG were close friends in the past from KUEN. BOK finds NGAU more suspicious. YIN SHEUNG is sick. KWONG takes good care of SHEUNG. WAI is touched and impressed with KWONG. KWONG's dead is unveiled. KWONG worries a lot. NGAU scolds KWONG. In another aspect, WAI finds out that BOK's birthday is the same date when CHEUNG's family encountered the misfortune. They think that it is not just a coincidence. BOK agrees to take an experiment. They find that BOK's fingerprint is same as CHEUNG's son. They strongly believe that CHEUNG's son had transmigrated to be NGAU's son. They also believe that NGAU is related to CHEUNG's misfortune. ON arranges to meet BOK in a restaurant. BO leaves his seat to make a phone call. The fan drops down from the ceiling. ON dies on the spot distressingly……

BOK persuades NGAU to stop his evil deeds. NGAU does not listen. They quarrel. BOK moves to CHAN's family and lives in YAU's place temporarily. KWONG's body is found. BOK knows that it was NGAU's deed. He questions NGAU. NGAU denies. KUEN asks BOK to attend a foundation ceremony so as to mediate between NGAU and BOK. Unexpectedly, CHEUNG and YING take the opportunity to make KUEN meet with a tragic death. WING is also killed in an accident. NGAU is heart-broken to lose all family members. BOK rebukes CHEUNG who is too cruel. CHEUNG points out that BOK is also responsible for all tragedies. HUNG finds NGAU. She claims that she is pregnant and WING is the father of the baby. NGAU does not believe and drives her away. When NGAU has found out that her words is true, HUNG miscarries the baby because of BOK.

NGAU is collapsed due to the spirits. The private scholar arrives. NGAU seeks help from him. The scholar agrees to help NGAU to deal with CHEUNG and YING. NGAU tempts CHEUNG and YING to appear. The scholar attempt to suppress and destroy them. BOK hurries to rescue them by six sense. However, CHEUNG's spirit had already been destroyed. YING hides into BOK's body and avoids from the disaster. YIP FAT suddenly comes up. He repents to SHEUNG and WAI. He tells them how NGAU, KEUNG and himself persecute CHEUNG and his family. He even tells them that he is now suffering from cancer and will die very soon. YING controls BOK's behaviour and throws FAT down to the ground from a tall building. FAT is dropped to death. YING knows that WAI is FAT's daughter. She attempts to kill her. Fortunately, BOK can control his own body with strong will. He flees away in time. YING urges NGAU to kill NGAU and WAI……
