Overview

The Centovali line through the hundred valleys, which connects the north of Italy and the south of Switzerland. It is a story of the mayor of Locarno, who wanted a railway line between the two major north-south lines in the Alps, the Simplon and the Gotthard line, Italy and Switzerland.
