Episode 43

Overview

News of Süleyman and Hürrem’s marriage shakes the harem, leaving the Valide Sultan and Mahidevran outraged as attitudes toward Hürrem shift overnight. While the palace adjusts to this new order, İbrahim Paşa’s wedding celebrations are cut short by an assassination attempt, followed by a sudden and severe illness that leaves him bedridden. Süleyman reacts with fury, ordering Bali Bey to hunt down whoever is responsible. As İbrahim’s condition worsens and physicians fail to help, a last‑minute idea offers a faint glimmer of hope. Meanwhile, tension builds in the palace: the Valide Sultan, disturbed by her son’s devotion to Hürrem, quietly sets a counter‑plan in motion, and Nigar, overwhelmed by guilt and despair, is saved from the brink of suicide by an unexpected figure.
