After being dumped by May on their third anniversary, Phayu struggles to move on and keeps seeing visions of her whenever he tries to start a new relationship. Believing that an Ema wishing plaque May left in Japan is responsible, Phayu travels to Kawagoe to find it and break the apparent curse. There, an unexpected accident brings him together with Satsuki, who reluctantly becomes his guide in the search.
