Western - Episode 6 - Indians, Gold, and Buffaloes - Red Dead Redemption 2

Overview

Video lesson on History (and Geography!) about indigenous issues and gold in the 19th century USA. We use scenes from the game Red Dead Redemption 2 (Rockstar, 2018) as a starting point for these themes. In addition, we discuss the painting American Progress, by John Gast, and make some references to historians. Thanks to Professor Cláudio Humberto for his special participation!
