Felicity Kendal stars as the mistress of Luke, played by Jack Galloway, who is married to Helen, played by Jane Asher.

It’s clear that nothing will break Luke’s marriage – but is he really enjoying the best of both worlds?

Luke is on dangerous ground, with both Maxine and Helen feeling they could do with a bit more attention.

Luke is in a turmoil when Maxine threatens to leave.

Luke arranges a free Sunday so that he can make things up with Maxine, but she has other ideas.

Luke realises that he must fulfil his promise to Maxine and spend a whole weekend with her.
