Acid-burned by the man she had just left, she is left disfigured.

Overview

Thank you to Patricia for sharing her story on *Legend Story*. In 2009, Patricia—a mother of three—met a man who would turn her life upside down. Initially won over by his apparent kindness, she soon sensed that something was wrong. Upon discovering his past as a murderer, she decided to distance herself. However, the man lured her into a trap and threw acid in her face, leaving her permanently disfigured. Today, Patricia recounts the attack and its impact on her body and face, as well as how she is trying to rebuild her life after the tragedy.
