AMNESIAC REGARDING THE LAST 7 YEARS OF HER LIFE—INCLUDING HER HUSBAND AND CHILDREN—AFTER A BLOW TO THE HEAD

Overview

Thanks to Laura for coming to share her story on LEGEND. After suffering a violent blow to the head, she woke up thirty minutes later with no memory of the preceding seven years. Disoriented, she tried to contact her ex-husband—forgetting that she had since remarried and had another child. For LEGEND, she recounts how she had to relearn how to live after this trauma: retrograde amnesia.
