Vir Das

Overview

International Emmy Award-winning comedian, actor, and writer ‪@virdas‬ joins Shekhar Suman for a raw, honest, and thought-provoking conversation. He breaks his silence on the backlash following his viral "Two Indias" speech, opens up about the FIRs and legal battles that comedy has brought him, and shares his unfiltered philosophy that "controversy should not become your content." Vir also reflects on his journey from getting bullied in boarding school to becoming the first Indian to win an International Emmy, his humble beginnings on The Great Indian Comedy Show, his love for dogs, and why he believes comedy - not acting - gives him complete creative freedom.
