Deep in the Australian outback, Mike Elliot and his team hunt for abandoned vehicles, salvaging valuable parts from the harsh landscape. It is tough, gritty work, but in a place where scrap can mean serious profit, business is booming.

The vast Australian Outback is littered with wrecked and abandoned vehicles. To most, it is just unsightly rubbish, but to professional car wreckers, "one man's junk is another man's gold".

In the remote Kimberley town of Warmun, Mike, Vinnie and Chris haul battered wrecks on the long road to Perth, chasing the volume needed to turn scrap into profit.

In Victoria's Goldfields, Tim hits a closing-down parts warehouse, hunting a high-value find he can flip for profit at the Shepparton swap meet.
