Season 1

Comedian, actor, and director Lil Rel Howery joins Picture This and turns the writers’ room into his own sketch comedy playground. He talks about his beef with Katt Williams, recasts the Kings and Queens of Comedy for a new era, and riffs on therapy and conspiracy theories. You’ve seen him everywhere since Get Out, but this time he’s pitching his next big idea. Will his pitch make Jonica laugh until she says yes?

Actress, producer, and icon Meagan Good Majors pulls up to Picture This for conversational communion, unpacking everything from a comment section confession involving Anne Hathaway to a skincare scammer, wellness beyond aesthetics, and a mini-Major on the horizon. But will her stories be enough to make Jonica fight for an Issa Rae greenlight?

Fresh off taking over the Hot 97 Morning Show, radio personality and cultural commentator The Kid Mero brings his signature unfiltered energy to this episode of Picture This. In a rapid-fire conversational cypher with host Jonica Booth, Mero revisits traditional guy code, celebrates rising talent, calls out industry villains whose beatdowns might’ve saved humanity, and proves himself a real-life Bronx GPT. Many conclusions can be drawn about him, but Jonica’s final verdict on his craft says it all.

You know him as one of Beauty in Black’s most complex villains, but in this week’s episode of Picture This, Julian Horton steps out of character and into an unpredictable conversation. From his music career to dating red flags and lessons from the Tyler Perry universe, he sheds light on what he’s building in his own name. As Jonica gauges how much of Roy Bellarie she’s really dealing with, she’ll decide whether Julian successfully translates the making of his pitch through the beauty of our signature black marker...and earns a greenlight.
