Suzume, a working maid from the UK, is told to stay in Japan for a year since Master's mansion collapsed.

Sora is curious why Suzume stares at him. It turns out, she was eyeing the ice cream he was eating.

Suzume visits her favorite prepared foods store, tries instant curry, and boils fava beans for the first time.

Ricotta comes to Japan to check on Suzume on Master's behalf. Suzume befriends another neighbor, Sato-san.

Suzume enjoys the end of the rainy season with hydrangea soft serve and then prepares plum wine at Grandma's.

Suzume enjoys eel with Grandpa and Grandma on a special day. Then she gets lost at the summer festival.

Ricotta invites Suzume to go to the pool, but the pool is closed! Suzume gets shaved ice to cheer them up.

Suzume cooks new rice in a clay pot with Grandma. She invites Ricotta and Nana over to enjoy a special curry.

Suzume attempts to cut her bangs for the first time ever and fails. Grandma serves miso soup to cheer her up.

Suzume is curious about the special candy the girl has at the park and goes hiking to enjoy the autumn leaves.

Christmas season is here! Suzume serves stollen to Nana and Anzu because they've never had it before.

It's the end of the year! Suzume makes dried daikon and enjoys year-end soba with Ricotta, Anzu and Nana.
