Season 1

Meiko Morita transfers to an elite girls' academy and moves to Tokyo. The dorm doubles as a manga café, and she ends up working there with her dormmates. This marks the beginning of her new life!

Meiko slowly settles into life at the manga cafe. But due to Rie's reckless management, the shop is on verge of closing. Will the girls be able to save the cafe in time?!

Michika Narumi, who works at the cat cafe in the building, suddenly shows up. She's upset that the manga cafe's expansion has reduced the cat cafe's space. It's the start of a battle between the two cafes!

It's summer, and the cafe is busy - until the air conditioning breaks, forcing a temporary closure. While it's being repaired, the girls (along with Michika) head off to a tropical resort getaway!

Summer break is coming, but Meiko flunks her exams and her, Neo and Marika have to retake several. With help from Rie, the girls and Michika cram together. Will they manage to evade the make-up classes and go home for the summer…?

After stepping out of the shower, Meiko realizes her underwear has mysteriously vanished. Can she make it all the way back to her room without anyone noticing she's going commando? Is Meiko facing the biggest crisis of her life!?

The second semester has begun. At home, the girls get hyped over doujinshis. Michika and Suzu have become regulars, and they also help Marika recover from her back pain. Life at the manga cafe continues!

It's autumn, and the sports festival at Amamiya Girls' Academy has begun. True to the reputation of an elite girls' school, the event is packed with lavish competitions. Hoping to win the wagyu beef prize for her younger siblings back home, Meiko sets out to claim victory!

As Marika is haunted by a buried dark past, a mysterious figure closes in on her. After she is abducted, Meiko and the others band together to uncover the culprit's identity and motive.

As the year comes to a close, Meiko returns to her hometown with Rie. Still convinced that Meiko is the manga artist "Meiko Morita" Rie insists on seeing her family home. Panicked by the misunderstanding that still hasn't been cleared up, Meiko finds herself in a bind!
