Len's intimidation causes Tina to consider withdrawing her statement against Gary; the factory girls try to integrate themselves with Julie when Fiz tells them of Tony's instruction; Michelle refuses to accept Becky's apology; and Ken heads straight for Martha's on his return from Portsmouth.

Julie stands up to Tony and insists he fire her, but a stranger's arrival changes everything; Gail pays off a pile of Joe's bills; Leanne offers Michelle a job in the bookies; and Ken misses his night at the theatre.

Newcomer Luke shows Tony who is boss and puts Julie's mind at ease; Ken's desire to be at the theatre with Martha sours the dinner party; Claire has an explanation for Graeme's behaviour; and Joe is furious about Gail's interference.

Len makes a final bid to prevent Tina testifying against Gary; Tony is increasingly unnerved by Luke's presence in the factory; and Rosie tells Ryan that Sian is attracted to him.

When Joe considers accepting Len's offer, Tina admits that David did start the fight with Gary; Ken spends time with Martha while Deirdre prepares a meal for him; and Becky annoys Liz.

David uses Joe's addiction to his own devious advantage while pretending to help; Becky fails to understand Slug's warning to watch her back; and Natasha spills the beans on Tony.

David intensifies his psychological war with Joe by increasing the price of his pills; Tony moves to reconcile with Helen and Barry; and Jason is delighted by Leon's invitation.

Joe's desperation for drugs causes him to once again steal from Gail, and spurs David into blackmail; Becky plans some wedding surprises for Steve; and Chesney finds Fiz's ring.

Chesney watches on as Fiz frantically searches for her engagement ring, but neither is honest with the other; Hayley and Anna help Becky with her wedding preparations; and Jason receives confirmation of his mortgage to buy No 12, but David's discovery that Joe is to fit the kitchen provokes a furious threat.

Joe becomes desperate after he is sacked, prompting a more serious theft from Gail's bag; Kevin demands the truth about who stole Rosie's car; and Jesse causes confusion.

Gail responds to the medical centre alarm and discovers that Joe has trashed the pharmacy, revealing the full scale of his addiction; Kevin gets tough with Chesney; and Jason and Tina buy No 12.

Gail is horrified when the police arrest Joe, but David spins events to his own advantage; Tony tells Michelle to move out of Maria's house; and Chesney leaves home - again.

Joe vows to beat his addiction without his doctor's offer of more powerful drugs; and Rosie threatens to withdraw her investment from Underworld.

Tina uncovers evidence that David took advantage of her father's addiction; and Maria's suggestion that she could move to Ireland forces her and Tony to face up to their true feelings.

Maria and Tony struggle to hide their relationship from Michelle; determined not to spoil another wedding, Becky avoids alcohol on her hen night; and Liz returns from Spain.

Steve and Becky's second wedding day goes like a dream - until they return to the Rovers and receive a nasty surprise; and Michelle moves out of No 7, but gives Maria and Tony's relationship her blessing.

The police search of the Rovers uncovers exactly what DC Hooch intended, and as Becky is arrested for possession of drugs, she realises that Steve has assumed she is guilty.

Becky is released on bail, but only Steve seems certain she is innocent of the charges; Liz ends her relationship with Lloyd; and Tina confronts Joe about his attitude.

Steve tries to bribe DC Hooch to drop Becky's charges; Kevin delights Sally with a proposal, but he is focused on keeping away from Molly; and Ashley tries to impress Claire.

Steve tries to track down Slug in the hope of proving he planted the drugs in the Rovers; Kevin and Sally are disappointed by their house-hunting in Cheshire; and Liz says goodbye to Jim and Andy as they leave Weatherfield after the wedding.

Tina jumps to conclusions about David when her charm bracelet goes missing and accuses him of stealing it; Gail tells Joe she is unsure they have a future; and Steve and Becky get a lead in their hunt for Slug.

Jason is furious at David's harassment of a clearly shaken Tina; Amber's plans for university do not appear to involve Darryl; and Graeme decides to start his own business.

Gail takes photos of David's injuries for the police, who turn up to arrest Jason; and Rita urges Ramsay to stay in Weatherfield for Emily's sake.

David is less than happy to discover Jason has been released from police custody, but shocked when someone else confesses to the beating; Joe secures a part-time job; and Ashley takes Graeme home with him to avoid any romance with Claire.

David receives a stark warning from his attacker and reluctantly confesses to Gail that Jason is innocent - but keeps quiet about the real culprit; Norris delivers Ramsay an ultimatum, leaving Emily in tears; and Jesse's parrot attacks Eileen.
