Time Team joins forces with the people of Modbury to uncover their dramatic history. We hunt for clues throughout the town, in attics, in living rooms, and under brand new lawns. We're looking for evidence of Civil Wars that raged through the town in the 17th century. Time Team are joined by Jim Stetson, whose family sat at the heart of the community before they left for America to find their fortune making hats. But will we piece together the dramatic ups and downs of Modbury and its fascinating history? We have just three days to do it!
