This first episode delves into the figure of Jesús Quintero as an icon, journalist and father, through the testimonies of his daughters, friends and journalism professionals. We meet the "crazy man" in his transition from radio to television; his silences and his way of understanding the interview. But also his lights and shadows. We hear voices from journalism such as Àngels Barceló, José María García, Joana Bonet or Isabel Gemio.

Quintero faces censorship and other realities of television. We learn about his failures, his Andalusianism, his projects and we get to his final days. In this chapter, Andrea and Lola Quintero reflect on the model of father they had. Close friends such as Fran Rivera, Rocío Carrasco, Vicky Martín Berrocal and Isabel Gemio analyse his way of understanding himself and his environment, both personal and professional. His ex-partner and journalist, Joana Bonet, delves into the last interview she did with him, shortly before her death.
