Season 1

Wearing breathing apparatus and with a thermal imaging camera, firefighter Peer Peter and a colleague make their way through the charred apartment. It is difficult to find your way around and they never know what they will find.

Operations like this have changed Saskia Sierck's view of life. When she and her colleagues from the Hamburg fire brigade arrive at the underground station, the injured person under the subway is still alive. Now every second counts.

A man who had recently had an operation does not respond to messages. The neighbor is worried. Vincent Isroe from the Hamburg fire department prepares to break down the door. Another emergency call is: "Man with a knife in his mouth."

Felix Krampe hadn't expected this: the fire was already visible as he approached. His colleagues from the Hamburg fire brigade had to break down an apartment door in another emergency. The smoke detector sounded the alarm. What about the resident?
