In order to understand this phenomenon, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department set up a "Special Unit" to work on incidents that happen under special circumstances. After transforming into Kamen Rider Drive and discovering the strange occurences throughout the city are caused by the Roidmude, Shinnosuke seeks out more information from his former colleague Hayase while the Roidmude named Heart revives Roidmude 029 after he has been defeated by Drive.

Shinnosuke and Kiriko are sent to investigate an art gallery where there have been rumors of women's ghosts being eaten by a monster, but when they arrive they find the owner Asaya refuting the rumors while asking Kiriko to model for him. While suspicious of Asaya, Shinnosuke investigates the gallery, only to be hit by the "Heaviness" and the appearance of a Roidmude targeting Kiriko.

Shinnosuke must deal with both Chaser and the Paint Roidmude, as Rinna reveals to him the secrets to Asaya's paintings.

While Shinnosuke and Kiriko investigate Roidmude attacks on transportation vehicles, Brain and Heart instruct Chase to follow a criminal named Crush.

While Shinnosuke is still under the effects of Brain's poison, he must figure out how to stop the Crash Roidmude from obtaining explosives from the Font-R company, when its president prevents the Special Investigations Division from looking into his factory.

Shinnosuke must figure out why he is being dogged by a reporter and discover who is responsible for demolishing several buildings when he cannot find the source of the Heavy Acceleration.

Shinnosuke is still followed by the reporter, who is unwillingly becoming part of a story himself.

When the Roidmudes seem to discover a new form of evolution for themselves, Mr. Belt decides it is the time for Kamen Rider Drive to use the new Shift Car: Shift Technic to further combat the Roidmudes.

Shinnosuke and Kiriko investigate a series of power outages that they believe to be caused by the Roidmudes, but it only brings up questions of Mr. Belt's past when Heart himself becomes involved.

When it is discovered that Volt is trying to cause a blackout on Christmas Eve to further the Roidmudes' plans, Shinnosuke and Kiriko race to stop them.

While investigating a land shark who seems to have been involved in Roidmude activities, Shinnosuke cannot detect any Heavy Acceleration particles but instead comes across a young man who says he has something interesting to show him.

Kiriko wonders about her brother's arrival and true intentions when a group of thieves is discovered using a device that creates Heaviness.

While Chase is haunted by the fact that Kiriko and Mr. Belt's voice appears in his memories, Shinnosuke escorts a popular fashion model who has come to the police station because she fears she is being followed by a supernatural creature.

Mashin Chaser is revealed to be Kamen Rider Protodrive, but Mr. Belt cannot figure out how to get him to return to his original self. Meanwhile, Shinnosuke tries to figure out why Rira is being targeted and/or protected by Roidmude 096.

There has been a series of marriage scam incidents, and a Roidmude seems to be involved. Shinnosuke and Kiriko investigate, while Go goes undercover as a guest at a wedding ceremony.

While Shinnosuke and Go deal with the out-of-control Drive Type Dead Heat, Rinna falls into the clutches of the Voice Roidmude. Disappearing together, Shinnosuke must piece together what happened in Rinna's past.

A case that was supposed to be over has resurfaced again after 5 years. Genpachiro has taken this one personally, and vows to solve the case, even quitting the police force if he doesn't solve it.

Tachibana reveals that he collaborated with the Judge Roidmude in order to lure out the true Judge, who has risen again. Who is this true "Judge"?

The Unit is shocked to find two Kyu Saijos. Which one of them is real, and which is not?

Simultaneous murders are going on, and Chase keeps popping up in surveillance tapes. While Kiriko and Shinnosuke believe in Chase's innocence, Go does not. But what is really going on?

Just as Shinnosuke had deduced, the bodies were of people the Roidmudes had copied in the past. Having avoided being defeated by Mashin Chaser after using a new Shift Car, Shinnosuke tries to see if there was anything left of his once righteous spirit. Also, Type Formula’s restrain on Shinnosuke’s body puts his life at serious risk. Go continues to insist on equating Roidmudes with evil and declares his intention of ending Chase as soon as he can. Meanwhile, the supposedly dead bodies stored at the morgue start crawling into the Special Investigation Unit's office.

Mysterious bombings continuously happened in Tokyo. As for now, Roidmudes are primarily suspected of the bombings. While Drive and Mach went to an amusement park, Mach was quickly incapacitated by a bomb. Meanwhile, an injured Chase is currently in a hospital with Kiriko as his caretaker.

Kiriko continues to secretly harbor Chase while an impatient Go tries to rush the Mach Driver's repair.

Mitsuhide Nira of the 1st Division pays a visit that leaves an unpleasant taste in the Special Unit. Meanwhile, a Roidmude targets Hayase, Shinnosuke's former partner. When things get out of hand, Shinnosuke has no choice but to reveal his identity as Drive to the public.

Shinnosuke’s secret identity as Drive is now public knowledge. Chief Honganji, who had known this all along, purposefully leaked this information to the media, calling it a “move ahead against the enemy”. He thinks that now that Roidmude 001 has started to move, making Drive a widely known hero is a more advantageous circumstance. Also, the fact that Roidmude 001 could be involved in Shinnosuke’s father death has arisen. What kind of powers does Roidmude 001 have? Meanwhile, Chase has helped Drive once but he is still confused. What is he fighting for? What is he supposed to protect? In the middle of his thoughts, both Shinnosuke and Heart pay him a visit at the same time…

Shinnosuke and the rest of the Special Unit are now more confident thanks to the new Ride Booster support vehicles. Kiriko and Go eventually get into an argument whether to trust Chase or not as a Kamen Rider. Later, Shinnosuke joins a joint investigation from the Central Government Office where Brain (in his human form) tries to frame Shinnosuke, whom is already aware of Brain's involvement in the division. Meanwhile, a girl named Yoriko seeks Go's help as her brother was attacked by a Roidmude.

Go turned out to be the son of Professor Banno, the inventor of the Roidmudes. This fact was not known by Kiriko, of course. Shinnosuke, now knowing the reason behind Go’s particular animosity against the Roidmudes, is left speechless. As for the ongoing case of the residential complex victims, it is now theorized that the ultimate target could have been Go all along. Could Go’s refusal to accept Chase come not from him becoming a Kamen Rider but because of his Roidmude condition? Shinnosuke has promised Kiriko that he’ll rescue Go no matter what. However, the disciplinary restriction Nira placed on him prevents transforming into Drive. Chase, who has appeared to prevent further problems at Shinnosuke’s request, is the target of Go’s wrath once more.

Cases of mass robbery are believed to be by a culprit who was responsible for murdering Eisuke Tomari. Shinnosuke is pumped up to solve the case alone. Meanwhile, Brain appears before Go and offers an alliance.

Due to Mach’s intervention, Shinnosuke could not apprehend the murderer of his father. Has Mach become the enemy? In addition, Shinnosuke is regretful about prioritizing his need for answers over saving lives and lets Chase know. In contrast, Kiriko, having seen Go's betrayal, is starting to have trouble with solving the case and is getting hasty. The reason: this change in Go is no doubt the work of Roidmude 001 and this case is deeply connected to him as well. Brain is trying to get rid of anyone with any relation to the bank robbery from 12 years ago and Maruya (Negishi's former accomplice) testifies feeling something that could very well be a "thick air" event. Meanwhile, the recovery of Protodrive's memories that Chase had requested to Kiriko is complete. An unthinkable truth was hidden there.

A young man named Toru Fujiki has asked the Special Investigation Unit for help. Toru says that his father, who runs a factory in town, has suddenly disappeared. To make matters worse, all memories of Toru's father have been erased from his family and the factory employees.

Shinnosuke continues his fight against the Freeze Roidmude, undeterred by the power the first Roidmude possesses. However, Freeze obtains his Over Evolved form, and uses it to kill Drive for good.

Shinnosuke has fallen at the hands of Freeze's Over Evolved State, and the Special Investigation Unit has no choice but to disband. Meanwhile, Chase works to find a way to bring Go back to his senses.

After being revived, Shinnosuke has gained a new power in the form of Type Tridoron. However, he can’t help but be worried by Freeze’s final words. Meanwhile, a Roidmude has stolen reports from a crime lab. The stolen documents were all cases that involved Shinnosuke’s father, Eisuke Tomari.

Mitsuhide Nira, who has been revealed to be the murderer of Eisuke Tomari, takes steps with Brain to hide away the evidence from 12 years ago. Moreover, they hold a press conference, falsely accusing the Special Investigation Unit of colluding with the Roidmudes, landing them in jail and Shinnosuke as the public's most wanted criminal. Shinnosuke must find a way to free the Unit and expose Nira of his crimes.

Nira put the Special Investigations Unit in siege to lure Shinnosuke into a trap. He intends, after framing Shinnosuke for the whole incident, to kill him and make it appear as if it was self-defense with the same gun that killed Shinnosuke’s father, with the other Riders fairing no worse, with Go fighting Heart wanting Banno's tablet, and Chase unable to save a poisoned Yukari with Mad Doctor.

A string of Roidmudes have been rampaging in the city, burning everything around them. Drive arrives and confronts the latest one, and a fragment of what appears to be a leaflet of a local French restaurant is left behind, with Shinnosuke unsure of what to make of this. Meanwhile, a new executive Roidmude has come from overseas and appears before Go and Chase. The Roidmude is after the tablet that has Banno’s consciousness.

Drive and Heart have clashed and Heart got the upper hand. However, what he told Shinnosuke was completely unexpected. The true evil could be lying somewhere else. What will happen with this battle of destiny? Meanwhile, Medic has Cook quickly prepare the golden sauce. However, the Roidmude evades the Special Unit’s stakeout and flees with the sauce.

Roidmude 008 has started his move! Intent on obtaining Over Evolved, he has started kidnapping women driving cars. Drive and the Unit give chase but he is too fast and it is hard to keep on his tail. They decide to try a sting operation by impersonating a couple in a car. This makes Chase react, since he is, right now, in the process of obtaining a driver’s licence. Meanwhile, Mr. Belt confronts Go after Heart told them of Professor Banno’s existence. The professor, saying “It is about time.”, reveals himself to Mr. Belt and also informs Kiriko that he is her father…

Go believed that if Krim Steinbelt and Banno joined forces, the Roidmudes could be eliminated. However, he was betrayed by none other than Banno himself. After being attacked, Mr. Belt is stolen from Shinnosuke and kidnapped by the mysterious Roidmude 004. Heart speaks to the now despairing Go and Shinnosuke, explaining what happened between him and Banno, who he calls "the lowest of humans", in the past. Meanwhile, Chase is after the Tornado Roidmude, who has kidnapped Kiriko.

An unusual number of people have suddenly lost consciousness at a hospital and all of the victims are young females who all said something about wanting to be with someone named Sho. However, no trace of Heavy Acceleration has been found. A mysterious patient with no matching record has surfaced and she is identical to Medic, most likely being her copy model. Shinnosuke starts the investigation based on the Sho testimonies.

Shinnosuke un-transforms and questions Medic about the reasons behind her actions. Medic, not knowing what her true love for Heart means, decided to respond. What came from her mouth was the secret of the day the Global Freeze happened a year ago, the same day the Medic that looks like Misuzu Hatori was born. Meanwhile, Banno, now having succeeded in becoming Gold Drive, targets Medic again. The Promised Number is 4 Over Evolved Roidmudes. Counting Gold Drive, who already has the power of a Over Evolved Roidmude, if Medic Super Evolves, they will be complete. Banno goes into action to trigger her evolution.

Among the objects left by Roidmude 066 was a map that hints at a second Global Freeze. The Special Investigation Unit receives an investigation request from the newly created SSDC and starts to move. Meanwhile, Gold Drive is searching for Brain to advance his plans for a new Global Freeze. Once Gold Drive, Medic, Heart and Brain are together, the Global Freeze will become a reality. However, another unthinkable character is after Brain.

Brain was cornered by Gold Drive and Roidmude 004, who wished to trigger a second Global Freeze. However, he was saved by Drive. Drive helps Brain escape but Kiriko is wounded in battle. Now aware of his own feelings for her, he feels very troubled while rescuing her. Meanwhile, Brain was looking into Medic’s sudden change after escaping. When he reached the fragment of his claw in Medic’s body and finds out the truth behind the change in her system, he also discovers that his very existence, along with Heart’s and Medic’s, is in terrible danger.

Gold Drive, after mercilessly attacking Heart, Medic, and the three Kamen Riders, goes to the “Promised Land”. He also has the Grim Reaper Roidmudes storm the Kuruma Driver's License Center and incapacitate the Special Unit. The last stage of Banno’s preparations for a second Global Freeze has commenced. Drive and the others, having barely survived the attack, go after Gold Drive. The final battle has begun but Chase does something unexpected. Meanwhile, Akira Hayase, Shinnosuke's former partner, despite not being fully recovered from the injury he suffered from the first Global Freeze, gets ready to go into the battle once again.

Chase protected Go in exchange for his life. Only after seeing him perish does Go realize the impact Chase had on him. Then, Gold Drive, whom Chase supposedly used his final strength to defeat, appears before him. Meanwhile, Shinnosuke heads for the rooftop of the SSDC alongside Heart and Medic. A device that would turn humanity into data, the Sigma Circular, is there. However, right before they could reach the place, the second Global Freeze hits...

Medic, in exchange for her life, healed Shinnosuke. Now, he and Heart use the last of their strength to destroy Sigma. After Sigma is destroyed, Heart challenges Shinnosuke for the last time to put an end their rivalry. However, Shinnosuke tries to call off the duel by convincing him to co-exist with humanity.

One year ago, Shinnosuke and Hayase were investigating the anti-government organization called Neo Shade. Now they’ve become active again, a Neo Shade thief breaks into the Metro Police Department to steal an item that had been left behind at a crime scene. The mysterious item, called a Ghost Eyecon, that had been left behind at the crime scene seems to be connected to the case.
