It's winter in Ice Cove and young single mother Siaja is trying to adjust. She organizes a mask dance to boost tourism and it spirals into chaos. Meanwhile, a mysterious discovery in Neevee's house raises a lot of questions.

Siaja turns to Alistair to help her solve a sudden water crisis, Neevee applies for a grant to grow her store while Siaja's Winter Ball idea is approved. Mother and daughter are dreaming big, with important projects to thrown themselves into.

When a first-aid training session out on the ice goes wrong, Siaja and Millie team up to solve the crisis. Elsewhere, Kuuk and Alistair help each other process their respective romantic struggles.

When Siaja discovers her ex has moved on, she and her friends organize a community speed dating event, leading to unexpected outcomes. Meanwhile, Alistair has his own adventure with Bun.

A birthday celebration for Millie takes a chaotic turn when a delivery goes wrong, leading to an unexpected run-in with the law; amidst the trouble, Siaja receives life-changing news.

Siaja travels south on a mission to investigate the whereabouts of her long-lost sister; Siaja arrives in the city with a clear plan, but absolutely does not stick to it.

Following a personal setback, Siaja struggles with her commitment to the Winter Ball and her relationships. A trip out onto the land with Neevee leads to a long-overdue, honest conversation.

As the night of the Winter Ball arrives, so does a massive storm which threatens to derail the event. Siaja and her friends have to dig deep to keep the ball alive.
