Book 2: Battle of the Bodkins (Part 2)

Motivated by discoveries made in the tomb, Max and the Midknights race to Byjovia where they are met with a strangely calm King Conrad, but not everything is as it seems. In the dungeon, Gastley hits his head, sending him on an epic romantic quest.

The Midknights try to uncover the Bodkin's ultimate plan - before they're turned into Bodkins themselves. At Outpost 71, Mumblin and Pete try to find a runaway iguana.

Max enters the sinister Shadow World to find and rescue her family and friends, but soon discovers that a hideous creature stands in the way of their escape. Meanwhile, Bean and Barley visit Byjovia, where a new king is taking control.

Max does her best to lead her friends and family out of the Shadow World. Mumblin risks his life to power outdated technology in the Tower of Time as he seeks answers about the increasing amount of time shrapnel.

With all the Byjovians gone, Max and the Midknights face defeat. Torin tries to imprison the kids, but with some unexpected help from Bruce the dragon, the Midknights are saved. Max learns there may be a way to save everyone and stop Torin's Bodkin.

Max and the Midknights arrive at the Tower of Time, where they reunite with Mumblin. Determined to save everyone they've lost, the Midknights decide to travel back in time to prevent Torin's Bodkin from winning, despite Mumblin's warnings...

With Mumblin's help, Max and the Midknights travel to the past to stop Queen Nerelia's amulet from falling into Torin's Bodkin's hands. But when Max successfully alters the past, she creates a future that's more than she bargained for.

When the Bodkin takes the form of Nate Wright and jumps into the future, Max and the Midknights jump through time to stop him! Now in Big Nate's world, the Midknights must stop the Bodkin before he causes more damage and takes over Nate's school.

As two times collide, Max and the Midknights team up with Nate and his friends to capture the Bodkin before it's too late! But they soon face a new challenge, as the Bodkin starts duplicating more and more...

When the Bodkin turns into a giant monster, the Midknights must stop it before it destroys all of time! If Max can stop the monster and Mumblin can figure out a way to open a time portal, they just might be able to save the world from disappearing!
