The police visit Manuel with the terrible news that his husband has died in an accident in Provence. But Manuel thought Aymeric was in Brussels. What was he doing?

The family, led by the Marchioness, do not want Manuel at the funeral, especially as Aymeric made him the main beneficiary of his will. Aymeric’s brother Joffrey makes a scene in front of the staff.

Police officer Richard asks Manuel to get the family to talk. Manuel finds out that the family plan to challenge the will, and that Joffrey asked for a lot of money on the day that Aymeric died.

Richard and Manuel discover that someone was threatening Aymeric with blackmail, but why? The Marchioness displays her ruthless attitude. Father Lucas has a secret he must keep hidden.

The discovery of a days-old body throws the case up in the air. Father Lucas declares that he believes in Aymeric’s innocence. Manuel questions a former school nurse about her knowledge of the past.

Joffrey is in hospital, but still in danger. Manuel and Richard are circling around towards the killer, but who is it?
