Season 1

Due to a sudden storm, Lu Zhao Xi, president of a premium private hospital, Anxing Hospital, is trapped in his car after fishing at a mountain reservoir. Zhao Xi escapes his car and rescues a goat. He meets Ye Shi Lan, a doctor from Taoyuan Village Clinic who is looking for the goat and is mistaken for the goat thief.

Ye Shi Lan has revealed the key evidence that Lu Zhao Xi is not the president of Anxing Hospital, because she is only temporarily working here and is actually a pediatric doctor who came from Anxing Hospital to Taoyuan Village for medical assistance. Lu Zhao Xi is mistakenly recognized as a liquor dealer and unable to prove himself at the moment. In order to better manage the hospital in the future, Lu Zhao Xi decided to stay in the clinic under this identity and wait for "rescue," while taking the opportunity to get some hospital information from Ye Shi Lan.

Ye Shi Lan is finally reinstated and goes back to her job. Just when she thinks that she can start a new life, she is called to the President's Office not long after she arrives at the hospital. Despite Lin Kaiwen's concerns that Lu Zhaoxi may not be able to continue being the president because of Ji Zixing, Lu Zhaoxi remains unconcerned. He does not worry about it at all. Meanwhile, seeing that Lu Zhao Xi is oblivious to whether he can continue being the president of the hospital, Ye Shilan thinks that he cares nothing about her future in the Department of Pediatrics as well.

Ye Shilan treats Lu Zhaoxi to a meal to explain about the boyfriend incident. She asks Lu Zhaoxi to act as her boyfriend but he rejects her. Lu Zhaoxi finally agrees to have a meal with Wang Mei as Ye Shilan's boyfriend in exchange for a request that Ye Shilan has to fulfil in the future. Ye Shilan agrees.

Lu Zhaoxi reckon Ye Shilan takes him as a replacement of Jiang Huaiming. So he stops doing whatever Shilan requests him to do. On the contrary, he treats Wang Mei especially well.

On a working day, Lu Zhaoxi shows Ye Shilan the deleted kissing photo of them that he recovered from his phone. The two of them banter back and forth, pretending they never care about the kissing incident. Ye Shilan treats Lu Zhaoxi to a meal. Lu Zhaoxi stated that she does not have to rush to tell Wang Mei that they break up. He will play along and cover up for her.

Ye Shilan and Lu Zhaoxi have continued their fake couple relationship for a while now. Although they still treat each other as friends, they have actually been interacting like real couples. Attempting to test Ye Shilan's feelings for him, Lu Zhaoxi invites her to pretend to be his girlfriend at his mom's birthday celebration. Ye Shilan rejects his invitation as she thinks that he likes Qiao Yu. Ye Shilan accidentally gets hurt, leading to the close contact between them while dealing with her wound. Lu Zhaoxi and Ye Shilan cannot help kissing each other. Lu Zhaoxi thus confirms that Ye Shilan has feelings for him.

When Lu Zhaoxi sends Ye Shilan home, he confesses to her. Ye Shilan admits that she likes him too and tells him about her worries. She's worried that Lu Zhaoxi likes her because he sympathizes with her. Lu Zhaoxi resolves her doubts, takes out a bouquet of flowers and confesses to her at the place where they first saw a rainbow together. Ye Shilan makes up her mind and kisses Lu Zhaoxi. They become a couple.

An audit team from the group arrives at the hospital. Lu Zhao Xi knows Gao Xuan has some wrongdoings in the hospital's finance. He uses Lin Kai Wen to test Gao Xuan by spreading some confusing messages to bait Gao Xuan. Lin Kai Wen meets Gao Xuan and leads him to believe the audit is carried out because Lu Zhao Xi is targeting him.

After the outreach program, the doctors leave the village to rest at the guest house, while Lu Zhao Xi and Ye Shi Lan stay at the clinic to catch up with the director and vice director. The vice director teases them that they look like they are in love, but Ye Shi Lan didn't want to reveal their romance during the program, so she hastily denies it.

On the way back from their free clinic, the doctors and nurses are chatting about the relationship between Lu Zhao Xi and Ye Shi Lan. Zeng Xin Yu, who knows about their relationship, tries to distract them, but it is obvious that she can't stop everyone from gossiping.
