Season 1

After losing her family and facing an uncertain future, Mitsuha is transported to a medieval world, where she befriends a village girl named Colette. A dangerous encounter reveals an extraordinary ability that inspires an ambitious plan to secure her future.

Mitsuha studies how goods from modern Japan could be sold in the other world and sets her sights on the royal capital. After bidding farewell to Colette, she begins preparing for the dangers and business opportunities ahead.

After being turned away from Count Bozes’s estate, Mitsuha stages an elaborate encounter with his sons to gain entry. Once inside, she poses as a noblewoman from the distant land of Japan and attempts to secure the count’s support.

With Count Bozes’s support, Mitsuha opens a general store in the royal capital, but attracting customers proves harder than expected. Her unusual products soon catch the attention of a noble household, bringing her a promising new opportunity.

Hired to organise Adelaide’s debutante ball, Mitsuha uses products and ideas from modern Japan to oversee the food, fashion and entertainment, but unexpected complications threaten her ambitious plans.

The Bozes family draws Mitsuha back into their affairs when Beatrice makes a special request and begins questioning her about marriage. Later, trouble at the general store introduces Mitsuha to a group of mercenaries and a promising new opportunity.

Mitsuha joins a group of mercenaries on a hunting expedition to learn more about adventuring and identify new business opportunities. Equipped with supplies from modern Japan, she tests her survival skills as the group encounters unexpected dangers in the forest.

After rescuing a mysterious young customer from danger, Mitsuha is summoned to the royal palace and drawn into royal affairs. Back at her shop, she must also contend with an influential merchant determined to take control of her business.

When Aleena asks Mitsuha to save her family’s struggling restaurant from a wealthy rival, Mitsuha introduces new dishes and recruits familiar faces to revive the business. However, their growing success soon provokes further interference from the competition.

While planning a new business venture, Mitsuha learns that a neighbouring empire is preparing to invade the kingdom. Summoned to the palace amid the crisis, she faces a difficult choice and turns to her connections in both worlds for help.

As the imperial army advances with an army of monsters, Mitsuha recruits the full Wolf Fang mercenary company to defend the kingdom. Their modern weapons and tactics begin turning the battle in their favour, until the enemy unleashes a terrifying new threat.

Mitsuha and Wolf Fang confront the dragon in a decisive battle for the kingdom. As the conflict reaches its conclusion, the aftermath brings unexpected recognition and a new direction for Mitsuha’s retirement plans.
