Overview

They operate out of hiding and lurk in the depths of the oceans: submarines. Nazi propaganda celebrated them as wonder weapons, and the myth of invincibility clung to them. In the battle of the atlantic, they operated as grey wolves in packs, spreading fear and terror. During the cold war submarines became an omnipresent threat in the world's oceans.
