Sound-sensitive elements and electronic components are enclosed in microphones, heated acrylic shells and plumbing systems are assembled into hot tubs, synthetic fibers are tufted into artificial turf, and molded ceramic bodies are decorated and fitted with pewter lids to make beer steins.
