Overview
Duke Cheng is trapped by the Northern Qi army, but Jiu Ling finds a way to help him break through and escape. He is ordered by the Emperor to return to the capital, so Jiu Ling and Zhu Zan decide to return in advance to help prepare for any traps set by Lord Huang. Zhu Zan’s mother encourages him to move past his love for Princess Jiu Ling and recognize his present feelings for Jiu Ling.
