Wogan Talk Show: Felicity Kendal interviews Paul Eddington

BBC's Breakfast Time interviewed six former Cabinet Ministers and Jonathan Lynn on how Jim Hacker will fare in Number 10.

One of many celebrity messages to Noel Edmunds's Christmas Morning with Noel show, which BBC aired on December 25, 1987

A two-minute introduction to the first ever Comic Relief event saw Paul Eddington, in character as Prime Minister Hacker, address the nation on the subject of charitable giving and its preferential nature to government handouts to charity. It was the only video insert in the show, which was performed at London's Shaftesbury Theatre on 4-6 April 1986. An edited highlights programme, including Hacker's address, was broadcast by the BBC on 25 April.
