Nellie and Eli are off to the seaside on holiday, but it isn't long before familiar faces start appearing.

When Eli's drunken antics prevent Nellie admission to the Women's Town Guild, she becomes determined to stop him from drinking.

When Eli realizes that he's forgotten Nellie's birthday, he manages to plan an evening at The Starlight Club.

With the business not doing so well, Nellie decides that cuts are needed: first the horse, then Stan.
