Conall Jago

Biography

Conall Jago is an Irish Actor and Filmmaker. He began his endeavor into film as a child, having grown further interested in the field through Secondary School, where he completed a GCSE and AS-Level in Moving Image Arts. He completed a Level 3 qualification is Creative Media Practice (TV and Film), where he Directed his first short film 'Control' (2024). During this time, he developed a passion for acting and performance, having acted in his first short film 'Under The Influence' (2024), and has since gone on to act in numerous short films, including 'A Single Shot' (2025), which was nominated for Cinemagic's 'On The Pulse' Film Festival and 'Film Devour Film Festival' in 2026. In 2024, Conall was invited to be a co-host on an episode of the 'BBC Bitesize Careers Podcast', produced by the BBC and CTVC, and featuring Television Presenter 'Katie Thistleton' and Careers Expert 'Shoshanna Davis', also known as 'The Fairy Job Mother'. He has since went on to Direct two short films, 'The Harmacist' (2025), and 'What Do You Feel?' (2025), which was awarded a bursary by the British Film Institute (BFI) and Nerve Centre in Derry/Londonderry. He has worked on multiple short films and in various crew roles, including 'Like A Stake Through The Heart' (2025) as a Producer and Sound Recordist, 'Whispers of the Deceased' (2026) as a Production Assistant, and in 2025, worked on his first Feature Film 'Love In Belfast' (2025), as a stand-in Set Dresser, Crowd AD and Lighting Assistant.
