Matías Molina

Biography

Matías Molina is an Ecuadorian filmmaker. He is currently studying Film at the University of Cuenca. His connection to cinema began at the age of 12, when the habit of watching movies evolved into a deep curiosity about the stories, characters, and emotions that can be crafted through imagery. This interest led him to seek out cinema as a means of expression and a way to connect with others. At the age of 20, he created his first short film, *Ecos de la nada* (Echoes of Nothingness), a work that marks the beginning of his personal journey as a director.
