Dana St. Amand

Biography

Dana St. Amand is a transgender filmmaker from Manhattan, Kansas. A graduate of the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan, Dana has film experience in a variety of different skill sets including lighting, camera, art, editing, and VFX. Her short IT’S SURPRISINGLY HARD TO KILL A MAN! won Best Comedy at WILDSound festival, and her feature screenplay GUN was an official selection of the LGBTQ+ Toronto & LA Film Festival and a semi-finalist at the Flickers’ RIIFF.
