Xheni Alushi

Biography

Born in 1991 in Tirana, Albania. She moved to Basel in 2014, where she studied at the HGK (Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst). Her first short EVA (2018) screened in competition at the Pardi di Domani in Locarno. Parallel to her Master studies in directing at ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts), she works as well at Leuchtturm Filmbeleuchtung. THE DISPARAGED is her fourth short.
