Biography

Payal Rajput (born December 5, 1992) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu and Punjabi cinema alongside Hindi and Tamil films. She began her acting career in television before making her feature film debut with the Punjabi romance *Channa Mereya* (2017), which earned her the Filmfare Award Punjabi for Best Debut Actress. She made her Hindi cinema debut with *Veerey Ki Wedding* (2018). Rajput made her Telugu cinema debut leading the romantic drama *RX 100* (2018), winning the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. Her subsequent Telugu releases include *RDX Love* (2019), *Venky Mama* (2019), *Disco Raja* (2020), *Tees Maar Khan* (2022), and *Ginna* (2022). She also expanded into Kannada cinema with the period crime drama *Head Bush* (2022). In 2023, she headlined the Telugu psychological mystery thriller *Mangalavaaram*, earning a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Telugu. She followed this with the investigative crime film *Rakshana* (2024).
