Gerdi Verbeet

Biography

Gerardina Alida (Gerdi) Verbeet (Amsterdam, April 18, 1951) is a Dutch former politician and administrator. From December 2001 to September 2012, with a brief interruption in 2002, she was a member of the House of Representatives of the States General. From December 2006 through September 2012, she served as Speaker of the House of Representatives. From June 1, 2015, through May 31, 2021, she was Chair of the National Committee 4 and 5 May.
