With a background in Sociology and Film Directing, he burst onto the global scene with his acclaimed feature films Por las plumas (2013) and Cascos indomables (2018), both of which premiered at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and screened at top-tier festivals like San Sebastián, BAFICI, and Rotterdam. His career has been bolstered by participation in the world's most elite film programs, including the Cannes Cinefondation Residence, Berlinale Talents, and the Locarno Filmmakers Academy.
