Overview

After his parents' divorce, 10 year old city boy Boy is sent to live with his grandfather in a rural valley. Soon, a painful blistering skin condition spreads across his body. To help him, his grandfather boils medicinal tree bark for a healing wash. This remedy not only cures his physical ailment, but the surrounding nature also soothes Boy's inner emotional wounds.
