Montana, 1934-1935. Freely adapted from Jim Harrison's collection Legends of the Fall. The death of Tristan's wife reawakens Susannah's feelings for him, though they parted long ago and she is now married to his brother Alfred. Her love for Tristan sets the Ludlow family on a collision course.
