Overview

Eli Timani Irarica, a young man of Kukama Kukamiria origin, begins his journey to the community of San Gabriel, 12 hours from Iquitos, where he will work as a bilingual intercultural education teacher at the local multi-grade primary school. We accompany him, and along the way he tells us about his childhood, his time at school, his professional training, his dreams, and his commitment to revitalizing his language and revaluing his culture.
