Overview

The city of Santa Cruz do Sul and the theater have a long history. Between ups and downs, this art struggled to consolidate itself in the city's culture, having its days of glory and resistance. Until the COVID-19 pandemic forced the curtains on the shows to close. Currently, artists in the Santa Cruz theater scene are dealing with the consequences of time away from the stage and are fighting to reestablish theater as an active part of local culture.
